The Bloody Good Dinner is back

News -
The Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision are back with the second Bloody Good Dinner. And with $720,000 raised it really was a bloody good night.

Hosted by Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision and The Snowdome Foundation, The Bloody Good Dinner is a night aimed at raising much needed funding for blood cancer and bone marrow research. We were again tasked with branding the event and wanted to make it better than ever. That’s no mean feat considering last year the event raised nearly $400,000 and had to add more seats to accommodate the extra demand.

Thanks to the success of last year, Chinese Tuxedo had come on board for 2018. Located in a 1920s Chinese theatre, it is one of the hottest new restaurants in New York. With this in mind, we transformed Melbourne’s Meat Market into a scene from 1920s Chinatown, NYC. Everything, from the website to the menu, was designed as an ode to the kitsch decor of old-school Chinatown. We wanted to capture the hectic enjoyment of a night out in New York while infusing it with contemporary Chinese pop culture.

And the result? Within under a week nearly 400 tickets had been sold and the event itself was a huge success. On the night we raised over $720,000 to fight blood cancer and bone marrow research. That’s nearly double what was raised last year and definitely a bloody good result.
